China has been trying and failing on a regular basis to intimidate Taiwan. However they have been equal to a real irritation, much like a mosquito can be. China jets have increased in frequency intruding into Taiwan territory and shooting down any Taiwan Air Force jets sent to intercept them. Just two weeks ago, Taiwan announced two Taiwan Air Force pilots collided in mid air during a routine mission over the ocean. Sadly we in Taiwan know the truth...that they were shot down by those blood sucking Chinese fighter jets. Taiwan government has a policy to always say that no fight took place...but usually its Taiwan intercepting the Chinese jet and the Chinese jet shoots at the TW fighter on sight. The Taiwan jet on the other hand has orders to hold fire until fired upon...a policy which always gets you killed with todays accurate technology. Such old school policies need to be updated. Taiwan needs to shoot first, and warn them later.

News states:
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A total of 15 Chinese warplanes, including 12 fighter jets, intruded into the southwestern part of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) in one single day, reports said Wednesday (April 7). While incursions have occurred almost on a daily basis for several months, the number of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft involved has sharply varied. Analysts have linked this week’s activity with the move south of China’s Liaoning aircraft carrier. The planes involved in Wednesday’s incursions were eight J-10 fighters, four J-16 fighters, two KJ-500 airborne early warning and control planes, and one Y-8 anti-submarine aircraft, CNA reported. When Chinese warplanes enter Taiwan’s ADIZ, the Air Force will scramble jets, issue radio warnings to tell the Chinese aircraft to turn back, and deploy its air defense missile system to monitor the activity.
